Well Hanna, my Mom and I went to Las Vegas this past weekend. My mom went to a consert Saturday. I wasn't going to go with her, but my cousin from Texas was there for the week. she was leaving Friday afternoon. So we went down Thursday. We were staying at some friends house for the weekend. Well we went to dinner and hung out with my cousin Friday night and the went back to our friend house. It was like eleven o'clock and we were way tired. Hanna was on the tile crawling around while we got ready for bed. I grabbed the keys to get something out of the car. On my way out I dropped the keys and when I went to grab them I saw a scropion, very close to where Hanna was. She had been crawling around and I am pretty sure that she crawled over it or really near it. The scariest thing is that Hanna picks everything up and puts it in her mouth. She could have very easily reached for it. We think it might have been dead, but you can't be sure. They play dead until you touch them and that is when they strike (at least that is what I have heard). Anyway I freaked out and grabbed Hanna off the floor. Needless to say we packed up and went to a hotel. So our free stay in Las Vegas turned into $200. Even after all of that we still had a pretty good time. But I am even more sure now that I would never live somewhere where it is that hot and has scorpions.

I know it has been forever. There has been a lot going on around here.

Hanna has three teeth and another one on the way. She is crawling (well mainly army crawling, but she is getting the hang of it) all over the place. She is climbing on everything. She walks along the couch (and everything else that she can get up on). She sleeps through the night. She is getting so big, I can't believe that she is going to be one year in three months. She has the bluest eyes and the cutest smile.
Kim is getting ready for his deer hunt. He is having a great time. Other than that he isn't up to much.
I am just being a mom and having a great time at it. I am just getting used to the idea of having another child. I am very excited and can't wait to find out what we are having.

We had a great 4th of July. We went to the parade in Parowan with my mom. After that we went to my parents for a BBQ. It was a lot of fun. We had watermelon, so we took Hanna's clothes off and gave her a grind. She loved chewing on it. When she got down to the end of the one side Kim went to turn it around and Hanna started having a fit. She was liking her watermelon a lot. When we got home we lit off fireworks. Hanna never smiled or cried, but we think that she liked them. Every time they went off she would kick her arms and legs. When we did the sparklers she kept grabbing for them. It was a good day.

Hanna loves to go for walks. She just holds the tray and looks around at everything. When we pass plants on the side of the sidewalk she reaches out to try and grab them.

Hanna also loves to swing. Kim and I took her the other day and she just starrted smiling. She had a great time.
