Cereal

Today Hanna got to try rice cereal for the first time. She tried to eat the spoon like a bottle, she kept turning her head to the side burring it in the side of the high chair. I don't think she mind it so much as she had a problem with it not being a bottle. Next I think I will give her the bottle first and then try the cereal, maybe then she won't get so mad that she isn't getting anything to eat. I figured that it would be messy, so I fed it to her in her diaper and a bib. It was a good thing that I did because she did make a mess, not to bad but it would have beem worse on her clothes. Hopefully it will go better tomorrow.

Just a few thoughts

Well everyone is always getting on my case to update my blog with pictures (don't worry there coming) but I wanted to also give an update on Hanna. She will be four months in two weeks. I can't believe that time has gone by so fast. It seems like I was just worrying and stressing about her getting here healthy and wondering if she would ever come and now she almost four months. I love being a mom, it is the best thing ever. She started smiling a month and a half ago and it still melts my heart every time she looks up at me and gives me a big smile. She is the happiest baby. She sleeps through the night, she might wake up once, at about 3 or 4, to eat and then goes right back to sleep. Then she usually wakes up between 6 or 7 to eat and then sleeps until 9-9:30. It is great! She has also started focusing her eyes on things and she will follow me and Kim with them when we walk past her. She is starting to notice more things and get entertained by them, usually for no longer than a minute. She is very stuborn, but that doesn't seem to suprise anyone. She hasn't lost any of her hair and it seems to be turning a shade of brownish-red. She hasn't rolled over yet, but we are working on it. She is always so happy and fun to be around. We love her so much and are blessed to have her in our lives. Here a few of random pictures.

Merry Christmas

It has been crazy around here, but I finally have a minute to tell you about christmas. We were in Delta Christmas Eve and part of Christmas Day. Will and Julie went to Mexico in Nivember and wanted to share their experience with us. They stayted in a time share in Mexico and at the time share they had ropes that would block off people trying to sell things. These people could only cross the rope if they were invited. So for Christmas Eve Will and Julie acted as these people. Julie gave us all paper money and they stood behind a rope with all the souveniers that they bought. It was quite fun and entertaining. After that Julie and Gabe showed us all how to do the Mexican Hat Dance. That was quite funny.
Christmas Morning wasn't to eventful. We didn't really start Christmas until about eight-thirty. We all took turns opening our presents. And after that we all just had a relaxing morning. Later that day we went to my parents for our Christmas with them and my dad's birthday.
All in all Christmas was a lot of fun. The best part was Christmas Eve.

Every year with the Lovell's we do home made gifts. This year Kim had my name and this is what he made me. He took one of his antlers that he found and glued battery operated candles to the top of it. He used a ton of glue to get them to stick. It was awesome and I love it.
